HEAD OF GLOBAL DEMAND MANAGEMENT (M/W/D)
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Head of Global Demand Management will be responsible for streamlining and managing all aspects of strategic planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management on a global scale. This leadership position will play a crucial role in contributing to the company’s growth and profitability by developing and efficient and lean set up to manage inventory levels and work hand in hand with Global Supply chain and Sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning, supply chain management, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record of developing and executing successful planning strategies in a fast-paced environment. Furthermore the candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and execute comprehensive global planning strategies aligned with the company’s overarching goals and objectives and work with a local entities and teams to implement those strategies
- Lead and collaborate a Matrix-Organization team of 10+ Headcounts and locations
- Assess, develop and harmonize demand forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and responsiveness to market dynamics across diverse regions and different locations.
- Develop and coach our Sales Force and Customers on the benefits of Demand Planning and Management
- Develop and execute contractual framework with do’s and don’t to help reduce liabilities and mitigate risk parameters
- Assess and improve robust inventory optimization measures, balancing stock levels to meet demand while minimizing excess inventory and risk
- Proactively identify and mitigate planning & supply chain risks to maintain operational continuity and customer satisfaction
- Develop a set of KPI’s to monitor and improve the set up and adjust direction where needed
- This position reports to the VP of Global Sourcing and Global Supply Chain Management
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred or
- 7+ year proven success in previous roles in the area of global planning and leadership responsibilities, preferably within a multinational organization.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with a proven ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Ability to use data and technology to create support tools and relevant KPI’s
- Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing abilities, with the capacity to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in utilizing planning tools and systems, with a keen understanding of emerging technologies in the field.
