Bernd Eder
EVP Transportation
Bernd Eder, Chief Operational Officer of Kontron Transportation Group, took over this position in June 2019 following the acquisition of the Transportation Group from Kapsch. He is working in this industry for more than 10 years in various functions. Bernd is holding a degree in Finance and Business Administration and is also a lecturer in these areas. He has more than 15 years of experience in management, particularly in the areas of Business Strategy, Turn-Around-Management, M&A and Finance.
Bernhard Günthner
EVP IoT Software
Bernhard Günthner, Managing Director of Kontron Technologies GmbH, took over the position as VP Smart Factory in October 2019. He has been with Kontron for +10 years and worked a.o. as VP Customer Programs for system solutions in industrial automation and medical. He started his career in software development with a master´s degree in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Munich.
Christoph Neumann
VP Technology
Christoph Neumann has been with Kontron for 15 years. After a degree in electric engineering, he worked at Digitec and at the US-headquartered Diamond Multimedia. After that, he switched to Giga Stream, which was acquired by Kontron in 2004. Subsequent to that, he headed Kontron‘s Design Center in Saarbrücken, and held a variety of senior management positions. Among others, as Vice President Engineering, leading Kontron‘s EMEA engineering team.
Hannes Griesser
VP Group Accounting
Hannes Griesser has been responsible for Group Accounting at Kontron since October 2014. Before joining Kontron, he worked for 13 years at a listed IT services company as Head of Group Accounting and Managing Director responsible for finance at the operating units in Austria, and most recently as Chief Financial Officer from 2012 to 2013. After graduating in Business Administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business, with a focus on Corporate Accounting and Auditing as well as Financial Law, Hannes Griesser spent the first years of his career working as a tax clerk and assistant auditor at medium-sized tax consulting and auditing firms.
Jochen Gimple
VP ODM
Jochen Gimple has been with Kontron Electronics since 1997 and has 25 years of experience in the field of embedded electronics. The focus of his career has been in the areas of purchasing, logistics and production. During the 25 years, he worked as a manager in the areas of purchasing, materials management, sales and operations. Since 2015, he has been the managing director of Kontron Electronics.
Michael Jeske
CIO & EVP, Services Austria
Michael Jeske gathered broad experience in the area of Operations at Kontron AG after obtaining a technical degree. He has extensive management experience in the IT industry and has distinguished himself professionally in the areas of development, production and quality assurance. He was a member of the Executive Board of Kontron AG until September 2022, after which he assumed operational responsibilities within the Group.
Nicole Nagy
VP Corporate Finance & Investor Relations
Nicole Nagy joined Kontron in 2019. In addition to business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, she studied Engineering Management at the Vienna University of Technology. Before joining Kontron, she worked for 15 years in corporate banking at an international bank. At Kontron, she is in charge of Corporate Finance, Investor Relations, Communications and ESG Management.
Olga Sinenko
EVP Smart Energy
After earning a doctorate in engineering, Olga Sinenko worked for a variety of leading international companies active in the fields of industrial automation, software development and embedded computing. Olga Sinenko followed that up by founding a technology company, which became part of S&T in 2014. She is chairperson of D2 RNC CIGRE, an international non-profit association for the networking of experts on advanced power systems.
Philipp Schulz
EVP, Interim Management
Philipp Schulz joined Kontron in October 2022 as EVP Interim Management and CEO Kontron USA Inc. in San Diego. After studying commercial science, he worked as a consultant and made his career with the company voestalpine, where he held various management positions in over 15 years.
Robert Courteau
EVP America
Robert Courteau has been with Kontron since 2000. Holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he began his career in design and management positions in the aerospace sector, before joining Kontron where he has held various leadership positions in North America. He has managed Kontron’s Communications business since 2013, and is responsible for the US and Canada operations since 2019.
Robert Kuzmič
EVP Communications
Robert Kuzmič has been with Iskratel since 1999. Holding a degree in Electrical Engineering he started his career in technical sales before moving abroad in 2006. He held senior management positions within Iskratel Group companies until 2014, when he returned to Slovenia and became the Chief Sales Officer of Iskratel Group. From 2021 he has been the Chief Executive Officer of Iskratel Group and since September 2022 serves as the Managing Director of the newly joint S&T Iskratel company.
Sašo Berger
EVP Communications
Sašo Berger has been with Kontron group for more than 20 years. He joined S&T Slovenija as the Vice President of the Management Board and the Executive Director of Defence Industry, Finance, IT and Legal Matters. In 2013, he took on the role of the President of the Management Board. His primary focus has always been sales increase and revenue growth. Throughout all his years of working in the company, he has also been actively involved in developing new business solutions and services, which the company is regularly introducing to the market. Since September 2022 he serves as the Managing Director of S&T Iskratel.
Steve Chen
EVP Asia
Steve Chen has degrees in International business management and accounting. He has more than 15 years of experience in IT management, particularly in the areas of business strategy, development, restructuring, M&A and finance. He joined Kontron in 2002, and has held a variety of management positions at it ever since, with these positions including chairman/CEO of Kontron Asia, of Quanmax and of Kontron China.
